Why You Should Use Facial Oil

What are facial oils and why are they important

If you were lucky enough to learn the basics of skincare, you have probably heard all about face serums and used one or the other. Now we will shed light on how all skin types can benefit from using facial oil and how to choose the best for their beautiful complexion. Before we get into the reasons why you should use facial oil, let us talk about what facial oils are and why they are so important.

As the name suggests, facial oil is a skin-friendly oil that acts as an emollient and moisturizer and binds moisture to the skin to improve the appearance of the skin. Moisturiser, on the other hand, contains ingredients that draw moisture from the air to keep it moisturized, which facial oils cannot. If you use a face serum or other anti-aging products that tend to dry out your face, using facial oil will restore balance to your skin’s moisture content.

To activate hydration and really see the benefits, include facial oil for at least 30 minutes a day in your morning and evening routine to see all the benefits of facial oils.

Of course, everyone will have different therapies depending on the desired result, but a common application tip is to use facial oil while multitasking with your existing skincare products. Once you know the oil and your skin type, you can decide to skip the mixture and apply it in a separate step. Serums and facial oils can serve a purpose in your routine, and you need to decide which works best for you. Ultimately, it is up to you to choose the one that is appropriate for your skin type and your skin goals. Sources:

The right facial oil depends largely on your skin type and needs, and different oils target different skin problems. To ensure that you get the best results for your face and overall skin health, it is important to choose the most suitable for each skin type. The skincare you used before switching to facial oils and whether you still use something after the switch plays a role in how the skin adapts to it. If you have an idea of good carrier oil (good facial oils have carrier oils), look at the look you want when they have it, and check it for yourself.

Before answering the most important questions about facial oil, let us address one: Should you use it with make-up? We will also check whether facial oils are better than moisturizers and if so, which ones.

If you are interested in using facial oil, cleansing oil is a great entry-level product to see how your skin reacts to the oil. Most facial oils are made from a mixture of enriched oils, so it is always a good idea to thoroughly clean the face with a cleanser such as a face wash or cleansing spray.

Whether the oil helps to moisturize the skin depends on the skin and the type of oil. If you are prone to dry skin, use Seaberry Moisturizer to primer the face for facial oil application. Mix your face oil with a moisturizer before application to increase its effectiveness and give your skin a numb finish.

We have found that because some skin types produce more natural oil, it is best to apply the oil first to dry skin and let it sink in, while those with a dry complexion are better at using a moisturizer and then using the oils. Oily skin type may opt to use both face oil and moisturizers instead of both at once because oil would go in place of moisturizing. Find out what works for you and use it in conjunction with your regular moisturizer as well as other natural oils such as sunscreen.

Research suggests putting a few drops of face oil in the moisturizer and then applying the oil morning and evening to the normal moisturizer. If you have naturally very dry skin, it is recommended to use a cream or lotion with the facial oils, but if you have dry skin, a combination of moisturizer with a little face oil and sunscreen would work well.

Those with oily skin will be thirsty for the right hydration, and facial oil is the most efficient way to get the right moisture. If your skin is oily, you need to apply facial oils regularly so that the skin can balance its natural oils. Facial oils work to retain moisture in our skin and are where they are in terms of efficiency, as you need to use much more moisturizer morning and evening to get the same nutrients and protection benefits. You still need a certain amount of moisture to attract facial oil, but it is a much more effective method to get the same nutrient a protective benefit.
